Every teenage musician does something very experimental.

Pilleater had many different projects in his youth. First, there was "DJ Qudo," a chiptune musician that used the Gameboy Camera. And then there was "Kalgerfic," which was a conceptual glitch album using the Mario Paint program. And then came along "IS0," an immature Merzbow project. And finally, a drummer in a shitty hardcore band (it was so bad, only snippets are on this compilation).

But perhaps pilleater's most favorite project was, “Trashkore™.”

Trashkore™ was a failed digital hardcore act. Influenced by Atari Teenage Riot and Realicide, it didn’t go anywhere.

“I remember the original name was ‘My Melody,’ based on My Life As A Teenage Robot,” pilleater writes.

“I really liked cartoons and somewhat disturbing electronic music, so I thought, 'why not mixed both?' But I was too shy and nothing happened. I had a live show as DJ Qudo, but not Trashkore™. It was just a pipe dream.”

For the first time, this cassette is proof that the Trashkore™ project, and many others, live up to it's fame. All the music was made between the ages of 15 to 19.

Side B features tracks that were recently created by the mysterious Pilleater project, “Simpson Street Productions.” Lo-fi, Leftfield inspired beats created on a Moog Mother-32 and a Roland TR-8. As well as featuring some lost Trashkore™ tracks.

It’s hard to explain this release, but there is at least 38 minutes of music on each side and may cause hypnogogic feelings.
